Cone crusher is a mining machine commonly used to crush and process hard rock. The crusher is a piece of equipment that is easy to wear and tear, and mechanical failure is normal. Correct operation and regular maintenance can effectively reduce the occurrence of failures. The following are cone crusher mechanical failures and treatment methods:
1. There is abnormal noise when the equipment is running
Reason: It may be that the lining plate or mantle is loose, mantle or concave is out of round, causing impact, or the U-shaped bolts or earrings on the lining plate are damaged.
Solution: It is recommended to retighten or replace the bolts. During the installation process, pay attention to check the roundness of the lining plate, which can be repaired and adjusted through processing.
2. The crushing capacity is weakened and the materials are not completely broken.
Reason: Whether the mantle and lining plate are damaged.
Solution: Try to adjust the discharging gap and observe whether the discharging situation is improved, or replace the mantle and lining plate.
3. The cone crusher vibrates strongly
Reason: The fixing device of the machine base is loose, foreign matter enters the crushing cavity, too much material in the crushing cavity blocks the material, and the gap of the tapered bushing is insufficient.
Solution: Tighten the bolts; stop the machine to clean foreign objects in the crushing chamber to avoid foreign objects entering; adjust the incoming and outgoing material speed to avoid material accumulation in the crushing chamber; adjust the bushing gap.
4. The oil temperature rises sharply, exceeding 60℃
Reasons: Insufficient cross-section of the oil tank, blockage, abnormal bearing operation, insufficient cooling water supply or blockage of the cooling system.
Solution: Shut down the machine, inspect the friction surface of the oil supply cooling system, and clean it; open the water door, supply water normally, check the water pressure gauge, and clean the cooler.
5. Cone crusher passes iron
Solution: First open the hydraulic solenoid valve to allow the hydraulic cylinder to supply oil in the reverse direction. Under the action of oil pressure, the hydraulic cylinder is lifted, and the support sleeve is pushed up through the nut end surface at the lower part of the piston rod. As the support sleeve continues to rise, the space in the cone crushing chamber gradually increases, and the iron blocks stuck in the crushing chamber will gradually slide down under the action of gravity and be discharged from the crushing chamber.
If the iron blocks entering the crushing chamber are too large to be discharged by hydraulic pressure, a cutting gun must be used to cut the iron blocks. During the entire operation, the operator is not allowed to enter any part of the body into the crushing chamber or other parts that may move suddenly.
