1.Fasten the jaw plate when it is installed. Pay attention to fastening the new jaw plate, ensuring it and the surface of crusher are in smooth contact. The assembly requirement of movable jaw plate and fixed jaw plate is that the tooth peaks of one jaw plate are aligned with the tooth grooves of the other one, that is, movable jaw plate and fixed jaw plate should be in a basic meshing state.
2. The materials of jaw plates should be selected reasonably. Manufacture jaw plates with appropriate materials and improve the structure of jaw plates to reduce its relative movement with stones can effectively prolong the service life of jaw plate. Jaw plate is usually made into a symmetrical shape in top and bottom side, so we can put upside down when one side is worn out. The jaw plate of large-scale jaw crusher is made of several pieces, which can be used interchangeably to prolong the service life of jaw plate.
3. Restore tooth shape through surfacing method. For worn and invalid jaw plates, surfacing method can restore the tooth shape. Arc welding or automatic submerged arc surfacing can be used while repairing. The service life of high manganese steel jaw plate can be restored through surfacing.
