Before starting, check the lubrication system and the crushing area, adjust the tightening degree of the belt, and check whether the screws are fastened, etc.
After starting, related maintenance and rational use are also needed. For example, after the oil pump motor is started for 5-10 minutes, check the working condition of the lubrication system, and the main motor of cone crusher can only be started when the oil pressure is normal. When maintaining the mantle of cone crusher, be sure to check the wear condition at the contact between the spindle and the cone sleeve. For the ore retaining ring under the mantle, if the wear part exceeds 1/2 of the height of the ring, the steel plate should be welded. When the spherical surface of the moving coneis worn above 4mm, or the lower end of the conical surface of the mantle is worn above 4mm at the contact with the liner plate, the mantle should also be replaced.
Pay attention to the outage of equipment. In the normal outage, no more ore should be fed, and the operation of the main motor and the oil pump motor can be stopped only when all the ores in the cone crusher are removed. Moreover the user should inspect all the parts of the cone crusher and deal with the discovered problem in a timely manner. For large cone crushers or gyratory crushers, they can generally be filled with ores. However, for medium cone crushers orshort head cone crushers, we should ensure that the ore feeding speed cannot be too fast.
