The production capacity of the impact crusher directly affects the economic benefits of the whole production line. So how to effectively improve the production capacity of the impact crusher?
1.Reasonably reduce the humidity of materials
The property of materials is a key factor for the output. If the moisture content in materials is high, materials will be easy to adhere to the crushing chamber, which is easy to cause blockage in the blanking process, thus reducing the production capacity of the impact crusher. Therefore, materials with high moisture content can be dried in advance to reasonably reduce the humidity, which will, in turn, improve the production capacity of the impact crusher.
2.Pre-screen materials in advance
The materials entering the crushing chamber directly determine the effect of crushing. If materials contain vast quantities of large chunks of high-hardness ores before crushing, it will increase the crushing time of the materials in the crushing chamber and reduce the production capacity of the impact crusher; if materials contain a lot of fine powder before crushing, it will cause materials’ adhesion to chamber, with an impact on conveying and blanking, thus reducing the production capacity of the impact crusher. For this reason, materials should be pre-screened in advance to make the materials into the crushing chamber meet the design requirements of the impact crusher. In addition, to improve the production capacity of the impact crusher, it is also necessary to have sufficient material resources for timely and effective supply, so as to ensure production progress and output.
3.Reasonably increase the power of the main motor
Within the range of rated motor power, the greater the power of the main motor is, the higher the production efficiency and production capacity of the impact crusher will be. Therefore, the power of the main motor can be increased within the allowable range to improve the production capacity of the impact crusher.
4.Properly increase the rotor speed
The rotor speed is one of the important operation parameters of the impact crusher, playing a decisive role in the production capacity, product particle size and crushing ratio of the impact crusher. With the increase of rotor speed, the production capacity and crushing ratio of impact crusher will be significantly higher, and the product particle size will become finer, so as to improve the output and quality of finished products and bring greater economic benefits for enterprises. However, with the increase of rotor speed, the power will be gradually consumed, which will accelerate the plate hammer wear and increase the production cost. As a result, it is important to increase the rotor speed in a proper manner during production.
