When the ball mill is working, liner plate is worn by the falling impact of steel balls and materials, and it is also worn by the sliding steel balls. In addition, the wear resistance of liner plates will increase along with the hardness of materials. At the same time, because steel ball and liner plate rub together, one side will be worn faster while the hardness of another side increases. Therefore, select correct liner plate to coordinate with steel ball working can improve their wear resistance.
(4) The material and heat treatment process of liner plate do not meet the requirements
The low yield strength of liner plates made of high manganese steel are resulting in plastic deformation easily under the impact and grinding between steel balls and coal during the operation of ball mill. Precisely, the square head bolts of the ball mill are subjected to a large shear force, so that the bolts used to fix the liner plate are often broken.
(5) The influence of operating conditions
When the ball grinding mill cannot adjust the amount of coal fed into the ball mill in time will cause that the coal stored inside cannot reach the requirement so that some steel balls will directly rub against liner plate. The great impact will aggravate the wear of liner plate, influencing its service life directly.
(6) Defects are not solved in time
If the ball mill liner plate and the fixing bolts are broken but not be found or solved in time, it will bring disaster to other liner plate, and even deform the cylinder.
